FiberMix 3100-155 is a compact SDH Multi-Service access equipment, technical feature
and index meet every norm of ITU-T and national SDH. FiberMix 3100-155 provides a cost-effective solution via Ethernet interface and various TDM interfaces. Error detection procedures are supported by loop-back function and each E1 channel can be diagnosed by loop-back function. Each Ethernet flow can be mapping into VCG that contains one or multiple VCs to meet the customer's needs for bandwidth. Carrier can adjust the bandwidth when the customer's needs change via LCAS. It combines TDM traffic (E1) and Ethernet data utilizing flexible virtual concatenation over STM-1 frame structure. Through SDH protocol capability, data packages can be transferred over legacy network at a rate of 155Mbps or even higher. FiberMix 3100-155 offers comfortable in-band or out-band management possibilities.
FiberMix 3100-155 suitable for the access of end business of Telecom. FiberMix 3100-155 is mainly applied to service access and transmission of access layer in communication networks. It is the expansion and extending of MSTP technology, it decreases the cost of access for subscribers, and increases the network resource utilization for operators, it provides carrier with secure, effective, easy and simple solution for access of MAN Ethernet dedicated line and E1 service.
FiberMix 3100-155 unit can be deployed in point-to-point application, connecting BTS and BSC over fiber, using existing SDH network resource, to distance up to 120km. FiberMix 3100-155 has network management function, administrator can manage and monitor the whole network through the network platform. The solution is a cost-effective, user-friendly way for wireless users.

FiberMix 3100 of MSAP can utilize the existing SDH/MSTP transmission network resource of carrier, and easily realize the point-to-point transmission of user’s Ethernet service and E1 service. It can complete the expansion and extending of MAN access network, with low cost and high-efficiency.
Enterprise-class User’s Dedicated Network Application
FiberMix 3100-155 multiplexer used as ADM equipment, when the backbone network is STM-1. FiberMix 3100-155, can be deployed to provide simple and easy solution for enterprise-class user’s multi-service-at-onestop service. It can provide N*2M bandwidth for enterprise-class user’s Ethernet service and realize secure and reliable dedicated network application.
