FiberMix 905 and FiberMix 906 offer easy connections of LANs/MANs at transmission rates N × 64k (N=1~31) via copper lines and shall be used in pair. With this solution, standard E1 systems may be fully and extensively utilized for local LANs/MANs. They can be integrated easily with previously setup networks. It is a flexible solution with a broad functional range, allowing for the conversion of Ethernet-formatted data into standard formats at data transmission rates within range of E1. Features like auto-negotiation and auto-crossing guarantee easy installation and low maintenance efforts.

Application FiberMix 905-EE1 Standalone 10Mbps on Transparent or Fractional E1 Converter

Point to multipoint application. Modular unit FiberMix 906-EE1 is installed in FiberMix 002-16 16-slot chassis at central site. Standalone unit FiberMix 905-EE1 is placed customer site. The application extends 10BaseT over transparent or fractional E1, and provides two clock modes: master clock and slave clock. FiberMix 906-EE1 has carrier-grade network management capability, At central site, administrator can dispose and control modular units through network management platform, for instance: working mode of RJ45 port, enable or disable E1 link, loop-back test, and reset all RJ45 ports. FiberMix 905-EE1 has remote network management capability, the working mode of RJ45 and loop-back test also can be configured. FiberMix 002-16 chassis supports redundant, load sharing and hot-swappable power supply. The application provides a cost-effective solution.
